This policy covers Exakind Tables, our Confluence app, and the
exakind.com website. Every statement here describes how the app is
built, and each one can be checked.
Exakind Tables is published by Exakind Software. You can reach us at support@exakind.com.
Exakind Tables is a Confluence macro that you wrap around a table you have already put on a page. It can see the table inside its own macro, on the page you are looking at, and nothing else.
It cannot read your other pages, your other spaces, your attachments, your user
directory or your Jira issues. That is not a promise about our conduct — the app
declares an empty permission list (scopes: []), so
Atlassian does not grant it the ability in the first place.
Nothing. There is no database, no Atlassian storage, no key-value store and no cache. We hold no copy of your table, your filters or your settings.
Even the choices you make while using it — which column you filtered, how you sorted — exist only in memory for as long as the page is open. Reload the page and they reset, because there was nowhere for them to be saved.
Nothing. The app makes no outbound network requests of any kind: no analytics, no crash or error reporting, no external fonts, no content delivery networks, no third-party services. There are no sub-processors, because there is nothing to pass on. It writes nothing to logs.
This is enforced mechanically rather than by policy. Two independent checks run on every commit, and neither can be disabled by editing the other:
fetch, XMLHttpRequest,
WebSocket, sendBeacon or a known HTTP client.Both have been tested by deliberately breaking them, not merely by trusting that they run.
Your table is your content, and it may well contain personal data — names, email addresses, employee numbers. We want to be precise about what happens to it.
To show you a filtered or sorted table, the app necessarily reads that content in memory while the page is being rendered, inside Atlassian's runtime. It is never written to storage, never sent anywhere, and never seen by us. When you close or reload the page, that working copy is gone.
We do not collect, and have no way to receive, any personal data about you or your users — including Atlassian account IDs.
Entirely within Atlassian's own infrastructure, under Atlassian's Runs on Atlassian programme. Your data residency is whatever Atlassian's is for your site, and the app does nothing to change it. Your content does not cross into our infrastructure, because we operate none.
There is nothing to retain and nothing to delete: we hold no copy of anything at any point. If you would like that confirmed in writing for an audit or a procurement review, write to support@exakind.com and we will confirm it.
Your tables stay in your pages. They live in the page itself, not in our storage. We verified this by uninstalling the app and checking, rather than by assuming it.
One thing worth knowing before you install. While the app is uninstalled, a reader viewing the page sees “Error loading the extension!” where the table was, and a PDF export shows the same. Nothing is lost — an editor sees the table intact and can recover it either by dragging it out of the macro or by restoring an earlier page version. But until someone does, readers see an error. We would rather tell you now than have you find out later.
In transit and at rest, your content is protected by Atlassian's own encryption. The app adds no transport of its own and no storage of its own, so it introduces no additional surface.
exakind.com sets no cookies, runs no
analytics, and loads no fonts, scripts, images or styles from any other
domain. There is nothing here to consent to.
The site is served as static files by GitHub Pages. As with any web host, GitHub receives the requests needed to deliver the page — including your IP address — and handles them under GitHub's privacy statement. We do not receive, request or have access to those logs.
If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page and the effective date at the top changes with it. We do not quietly revise it in place: material changes are noted here.
